Locast (Seatle) unable to stream (works via web direct in locast.org)

Not sure if you need much more, but attempting to watch a locast stream produces log entries like:

2020/10/30 13:26:25.132201 [ERR] Failed to start stream for ch5903: Locast: invalid character 'C' looking for beginning of value
2020/10/30 13:26:25.140499 [HLS] Couldn't generate stream playlist for ch5903-dANY-ip192.168.2.5: Locast: invalid character 'C' looking for beginning of value

If you need fuller logs, let me know.

Is that NBC or or another channel?

Yes, NBC, but I tried (with same results) for several Locast stations, all logging similar errors.

Maybe you have a proxy or vpn enabled on your QNAP?

nope, no VPN at all, same configuration/network that was working just fine yesterday (think this began to be issue late last night).

I had this issue the other week.

Removed locast and readd, fixed it for me.
