Location of my recordings on my NAS?

Howdy… I feel like I’ve asked this maybe a year ago, but looking back over my posts, and doing a search, I don’t seem to see an answer… I’ve been using the Channels DVR for more than a year, and it’s been rock-solid. I use an Asustor NAS for Channels… and there’s one recording I need to get off the drive, but I can’t find where they’re being recorded. In the “Public” directory, there’s a DVR directory, but it’s all pretty much empty. I believe this is from when I moved Channels from my Windows PC “test bed” to the NAS… but the Channels app installed somewhere else I can’t see. I have a vague recollection of needing to do something to get to the ‘hidden’ root or something, to get to the actual DVR files… does this make sense? Any help on how to get to the actual Channels goodies on my NAS?

What does the DVR web UI say under the DVR checkbox?

Ah, good call. It says “/volume1/DVR.” As I suspected, I need to get to the /volume1/ - not being a Linux/server-type, I don’t deal with that very often… I think I’ve done that with something like PuTTY? Not looking for Linux tech support here, but am I barking up the right tree? :slightly_smiling_face:

Problem solved. Already has WinSCP installed, and having already done this before, I had the credentials recorded. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction and jogging my memory!
