Your diagnostics show timeouts receiving data from the streaming server.
You can try fox.com/live to see if it works reliably there.
No issues on fox.com/live.
Was recording “The Five” during this time. Recording shows as interrupted, which can be seen in the logs; but the recording has not demonstrated the Lost Connections.
I'll reboot the routers later tonight after all scheduled recordings are done.
I'm seeing the same drops but it isn't limited to Fox News for me, although that channel seems to be the worst as far as how frequent the drops are. I'm on a gigabit fiber connection and have tried switching to my ISP DNS servers with no change in behavior.
I'm seeing the same timeouts on all Fox networks, both local and national. Recordings are continually timing out, along with watching the channels live. I noticed while watching if you double bump play to go back to the previous channel and then return right away, it will start playing again immediately. So it basically seems that the connection is timing out, but if you immediately reopen the connection it will play for a few more minutes before timing out again. All of the fox channels are working through other apps using TVE, only seeing this problem within ChannelsDVR.
All appears resolved today. I took a closer look at Fox via the other TVE apps yesterday, and there were hiccups, but they just stuttered and kept playing. Looks like Channels didn't like those stutters and timed out. So basically a streaming issue from Fox, but maybe there is something the Devs can do to better handle those stutters when they happen.

I can confirm that I didn't have any issues yesterday after them being constant two previous days. The only thing I see now (and have for a while) is an audio sync issue on Fox News that I don't have on other channels.
Here ya go: Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test
When this happens on the Fox channels, it doesn't respond like a typical network speed issue, as if you leave and return to the channel it immediately tunes in and starts playing. Something is happening to the stream where you have to reset the connection to get it to play again; whereas during normal network speed issues when I force a heavy load upon the network in testing, playback will buffer for a bit, play for a bit, buffer for a bit, etc. I have seen this problem with the Fox channels in the past, and it usually lasts a day or so and then resolves.
This issue is very similar to a very early issue when you all released the PlutoTV solution where playback would stall during commercial breaks, again in that situation playback begins immediately after leaving the channel and returning immediately back to it.
