I just upgraded my Mac toSequoia and Channels lost HDHomeruns (I have two)
I rescanned both HDHRs and they are fine...and detecting channels. When I "click here" nothing happens

Check under Apple menu → System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network
Is it enabled for Channels?
HDHome Run is there but channels is not. And I don't see any way to add it.
It’s because your upgraded OS has new permissions to keep software from auditing your network for other devices.
It notified and offered you the option to enable it on your first boot.
To resolve it after the fact and give Channels DVR Server permission, use the instructions that @Fofer provided.
Very frustrating. Maybe reboot and it will show up?
We’ve had many reports of this, and this is the issue and the solution has solved for everyone.
The question is why the entry isn’t showing for you.
I rebooted the computer and checked the HDHomeruns....they were both being seen by Channels except they had lost the zip code. And everything was working again.
I checked the Mac's Local Network and it is still without channels permission.....but live TV is working again with the HDHRs
I should note when I had the first reboot I did not see any permission "asks" by the OS. This is a 2020 iMac with Intel chips. I have a Mac Mini with an Apple M1 and it did ask me on the first boot.
I have a laptop with an M2 chip and it didn't ask either but I don't think there is much on there.
I had also checked the HDHomeRun App and it worked fine
But I find that one-by-one as I open various apps I get asked if I want to give local network permission. This did not happen for channels - but it did for the browser.
