Background
Two different tuners (Quattro and duo )
Two different locations (physical and network)
Place one runs mini pc and channels dvr
Place two is the duo and logs into the mini pc (channelsdvr away from home option)…
Recently computer hung up also switched channels dvr to Mac mini temporarily at place two. So far so good only lost local channels place one…..
Present day rebooted place one computer all is back as originally was….except at place two I cannot not “see” or access the homerunhd duo tuner…yet silicon dust app can…hence tuner itself is working and producing stream.
But channels isn’t detecting it as a source.
- yes same wifi network
- yes reboots of router, and homerun
- confirmed correct IP address on router of dh homerun device and that same in channels it is…
Since it worked for years before and only recently I had to switch computers, (thats why I included background ) is when issue began…..but since I removed channelsdvr from Mac mini, and confirmed that ip of homerun duo is correct I should load into channels as local or at home shouldn’t it?
