Hi. I'm trying to stream from my other house remotely and it works great if I set it to 6mbps 720p but then I lose DD sound. Is there any way to keep the surround sound while compressing just the video? 8/10 times it works fine if I keep original quality but then it will buffer occasionally.
Which client device/platform?
Apple TV 4k using the Channels DVR app.
On Android TV, if you use 6mbps or higher it will pass original audio. This appears to be missing on Apple TV app. We will fix it for the next release.
