Hi everyone -

I'm struggling getting custom station logos pulled into Channels and was looking for some help. If I set the channel stations to be pulled in from an internet address, such as the below, I see the logo on the Channels web interface guide, but not the apps. I'm using an Nvidia Shield / Pixel phone combination.

Any ideas how I can customize the station logos so that they pull in to the apps too? I have a few difference CBS, ABC, Fox, NBC stations and having custom logos would help deifier which is which.

Have you tried adding them in DVR-Manage-Images? That's where I add mine; mostly for use with virtual channels and video groups in my case.

Is there where you're suggesting? I run Channels DVR via Synology.

I tried creating a folder within the ChannelsDVR Images directory and placing station logos, but I don't know how to actually directly link to it.

No. In the WebUI under DVR-Manage-Images. I use them for virtual channels mostly though, not sure how they'd work for your situation:

These are SVG, which browsers will render, but the apps will not. Use png files.

I tried using this file and it still doesn't pull in the image on the apps. It's a PNG. Works on the web though. Any ideas?

There's no good reason it shouldn't be working.

You can try submitting diagnostics from your Channels app at Settings > Support > Submit Diagnostics

Just did! Others have commented that this is an issue since an update over the summer.

Do you need any further information from me to look into this on your end? Just submitted.

If you use Playlist Manager for Channels, it has a logo feature. I wrestled with custom logos for a long time, never getting them to appear consistently across clients (probably due to user error), but Playlist Manger has made it rock solid.

Are yours still working? Mine are being set in Playlist Manager and still not working. Others have had similar issues as noted in the Playlist Manager thread.

I just checked my iPad, and they appear to be working. I might be behind on an update to Playlist Manager, I’ll have to check that, and check the thread.

(Edit: I should add that my logos are hosted on an external web server, if I recall.)

If you use Playlist Manager for Channels , it has a logo feature.

Another option to consider is: TV Logo Manager

Just used TV Logo Manager. That worked! I don't understand why, but it did.

Looks like we are in the same neck of the woods (Mechanicsburg). I don't use Playlist Manager but can say I really like TV Logo Manager (I used Threadfin as a middleman between my backend CDVR Server and the Front End Server that clients connect to):

I can finally distinguish which CBS, ABC, NBC or FOX I'm watching. Much cleaner.
