M3u stream from Channels Server

I have a odd question someone might have a answer to. I have a elderly family member that I live with who likes to use the "live channels" app on their android tv. I have directv Stream set up on my server with tve, and I was able to find the m3u stream url's for each channel on my local network that they want to watch from my server and was able to create a custom playlist that I was able to load into their live channels app. It works great, The only problem is I can't figure out how to make a custom xml file for the guide data. Let alone get it to update automatically. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can have your Channels DVR serve the M3U playlist live:

http://${DVR_IP_ADDRESS}:8089/devices/ANY/channels.m3u

The guide data in XMLTV format is at:

http://${DVR_IP_ADDRESS}:8089/devices/ANY/guide/xmltv

(If you want the playlist to have original/MPEG-TS format, append ?format=ts to the URL for the playlist. If you prefer to use HLS, the server will remux the stream; you will likely want to append ?codec=copy to the playlist URL in this case, otherwise it will use the settings specified in Settings > Web Player > Playback Quality in the DVR's web UI which will likely involve transcoding. The advantage of using the playlist direct from from the DVR server is that the channel IDs with match to those in the XMLTV, meaning you shouldn't have to manually assign guide data to the streams from the playlist.)

I've been trying to get this to work but the one issue I'm running into is all videos start paused from known good sources - one being an Antenna. Once I hit FF 10S it starts playing. Thoughts?

Please replicate this issue again and submit diagnostics.

Is there a user manual that explains all the options available when using the M3U? I find a lot of individual information, but not a comprehensive list of options.
