I have channels on my Synology NAS. I want to be able to add the m3u file and XML file from either my NAS or windows. I can not figure out the paths. There is no button to browse, it just wants file path. I did /volume1/Windows/(filename.m3u) and is came back with malformed m3u.
On Synology you have to grant permissions to the share to the channels user on their interface first
I granted permission for the Windows folder I created on volume1 as a shared drive. I gave read/wrie permission to channels app.
I find the easiest way to share m3u from a synology is using Web Station. I just drop my M3U file in the web folder and can then share via HTTP to any type of server/client.
Can you walk me through web station? I was using m3u4u but now I can not even connect. It must be down or something.
