Manual commercial skip in TvOS 17 bug

I'm running 2023.09.15.0559 last stable release. I changed from the autoskip commercial jumps to prompted manual skips a long time ago, because autoskip can be wrong, frequently.

Anyway, last night I let my Apple Tv 4k 32Gb client update to TvOS 17. Ever since, when I'm prompted to do a manual commercial skip, I push the button and it does it, but then also pauses the video at the jump spot it should restart!

So, I have to hit the remote button twice. Very annoying.

Install the latest update from the AppStore

I'm already running 5.7.3, is there a newer one?

Hmm, the fix may only be in TestFlight then. We're getting ready to do another release.

Downloaded and installed v5.7.4 as soon as it was live. It fixed the manual commercial skip issue I was seeing.
