Is it possible to manually add files to the appropriate path in the DVR folder so that those files would then be found by the DVR service?
I have some recorded files that came from Plex that did not record the length of properly and would like to just move them over to the Channels DVR path instead.

This is currently not possible. The DVR only knows about recordings it made itself. However, you might be able to replace a Channels DVR recording with another copy by overwriting the existing mpg file.
Thanks, would be a nice option/feature/ability if the CDVR has this.
Granted there are a whole bunch of possible complications that may come up with different file formats or extensions. But this could be easily resolved by getting details form the file to know if it is a file that the CDVR can handle.
I have 9TB of recordings from WMC i would like Channels DVR to take over. Just wish it could. it would make me migrating over a little less painful for having to use Plex while recording things in Channels DVR. I had to abandon WMC due to too many issues.
