Can this be added to Android TV?
It should work based on the settings on your device.
The shield currently does not change its framerate unless you use a beta feature. Even then, you have to manually change it.
It’s bizarre to me that a device considered as one of the best playback devices, won’t shift to 24hz.
I see the option on my AppleTV under Playback>Advanced but not on my Android TV (Sony) or my CCwGTV.
I assume that it probably doesn't matter on my CCwGTV since that always outputs 4k60 but my Sony changes framerates in other apps.
I can see it in the Clent settings when I set my global settings in the ChannelsDVR but not on the client.
Oh I understand now. You want to turn off content matching for Live TV on your android device, like the Apple TV setting is used for. I understand now.
Opposite..... I want the app to output 59.97 if its 59.97 and 29.97 if its 29.97. If the app does that natively then that's cool.... I just don't feel it does.
