I generally use Channels to watch "transient" TV - things that are on daily or weekly that I watch casually.
But for shows/episodes I'd like to hang on to, I like to send them off through MCEBuddy to remove the commercials permanently, transcode, and copy them somewhere where Plex can pick them up.
Is there some way I can automate this process such that when a recording in Channels gets marked as "verified" (by checking or modifying the commercial breaks in Channels), MCEBuddy automatically kicks in on that file? Is there some way to either ping MCEBuddy, or for MCEBuddy to detect this status in recordings?
I realize none of this was built to work this way out of the box, but I'd love to automate this if possible.
