I new here so please be gentle. I notice that some of the channels picked up by my HDHomeRun tuners is missing in my guide data. I'm UK based, so an example would be Rewind TV, on channel 81, which only lists " SIGN OFF October 13th 2005" for all guide slots it seems.
From what I can see I believe Channels uses GraceNote for the underlying guide data. The HDHomeRun is able to extract guide data via the OTA guide (Freeview) and I was able to confirm this by using THIS to create an XmlTV XML file which I could check does include the missing guide data.
If Gracenote cannot provide this could Channels not use the OTA guide data from the HDHomerun to supplement their data for any missing channels?
At the moment it seems a bit mad that Channels DVR does not have all the guide data that the HDHomeRun tuners it is using does... Or am I missing something here?
Any advice on anything I can do to get complete guide data for the channels my HDHomeRun's can tune would be appreciated.
