Missing guide entries

This morning many channels in the guide had empty entries for the current time. Later on the schedule, entries were filled in, usually at the time of the next, not currently airing program. See screenshot. Re-downloaded the guide, no change.
I have seen in these fora logs of the guide update process, where are those? I can't find them. I don't have any custom channels, just the FiOS lineup and related TVE. Can't tune to the channels with blank entries - until a program that does show in the guide is current.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

It downloads 64 six hour blocks for a total of 16 days of guide data

Does the grid guide look complete on the dvr web UI?

No, the holes in the guide are pretty much the same on all clients.

In what folder is that file you pasted, what is its name? I’ve looked at *.log under the channels directory and cannot find that.

It's the Channels DVR Server log. channels-dvr.log
It's in the data folder of the folder where the executables are kept.
Look in the log to see where Channels is running from

2024/01/26 16:37:48.622986 [SYS] Starting Channels DVR v2024.01.26.1803 (linux-x86_64 pid:13521) in /var/packages/ChannelsDVR/target/channels-dvr/data

Mine is in /var/packages/ChannelsDVR/target/channels-dvr/data

Including the server web UI grid guide?

yes

You can view the log in a browser.

Thanks! Found mine (different since Windows). Many interesting things to investigate.
I see many timeouts and retries going for the guide data. So I have some LAN(/WAN) troubleshooting to do.

I've got a scheduled task (Synology Task Manager) that looks for guide data fetch errors each day from the dvr logs.

curl -s "http://<dvr_ip>:<port>/log?n=5000" | grep -i "reached end of available guide data\|\[DVR\] Error fetching\|\[ERR\] Could not find series\|\[ERR\] Failed to download\|\[ERR\] Failed to fetch\|\[ERR\] Failed to request\|\[ERR\] No stations available\|\[ERR\] Unexpected m3u response\|\[WRN\] Retrying guide data" >>/volume1/arkives/EPGfetch_error.log

As I find new errors, I add them to the list.
It currently looks for these errors

reached end of available guide data
[DVR] Error fetching
[ERR] Could not find series
[ERR] Failed to download
[ERR] Failed to fetch
[ERR] Failed to request
[ERR] No stations available
[ERR] Unexpected m3u response
[WRN] Retrying guide data

Excellent, I'll adopt.

My channels-dvr.log is now over 4 gig, should I trim it down some? I doubt there's much of interest from 2 years ago.

Up to you. I don't bother with mine (using 5 servers).
If you do, make sure to stop/shutdown the Channels DVR Server before you trim the log.
