Missing 'record' option, all channels - Apple TV

I added an HDHomeRun PRIME to my existing OTA setup with Channels DVR on a Synology NAS and after successfully adding Xfinity channels to the guide I no longer have the option to record any show or any channel from within the Channels Apple TV app. I used to get recording configuration options when swiping down on my Apple TV remote during live TV, or when selecting an upcoming program in the guide. Am I missing something? I've restarted the Channels app, restarted my Apple TV, restarted my Synology and checked the Channels package there for updates (there weren't any).

Not sure where to go from here.. Anyone ever come across this issue or know of another thread where this was resolved?

By the way, I can set recordings in the http://dvr-synology.local page in my browser. Just successfully recorded an episode of Seinfeld that way. I'm only missing the option in the Apple TV app.

Have you tried to force close and reopen the app?

...aaand it suddenly started working.

I did force close and reopen to no avail last night, along with every other troubleshooting step I could think of. Do new configurations take some time to regain recording option?

The only other thing I can think of is that maybe the Synology was undergoing some background maintenance unbeknownst to me. Curious if anyone else has seen 'record' disappear like that.

Regardless, all seems to be back to normal functionality.
