Mlb.tv update

Not sure how that could possibly work having games on both apps to start the season only. What if someone pays for a year subscription to MLB.tv? Can you really hold them to that and force them to use the ESPN app if MLB.tv goes away?

I think “to start” refers to the whole 2026 season as the start of the 2026-2028 ESPN contract with MLB. I don’t think they’d plan to change apps midseason.

I have not checked on Winter League games before today but the guide (http://my server ip:9999/guide.xml?mediaType=Video&includeTeams=winter) is not populating. Seeing this message in the browser:

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 54 at column 110: EntityRef: expecting ';'

and this in Channels log:

2025/11/24 12:25:43.969339 [DVR] Fetched guide data for XMLTV-Mlbserver in 12ms
2025/11/24 12:25:43.969631 [ERR] No stations available in lineup XMLTV-Mlbserver after guide data download: XML syntax error on line 54: invalid character entity &s (no semicolon)
2025/11/24 12:25:43.969836 [ERR] Failed to get placeholder channels for lineup XMLTV-Mlbserver: XML syntax error on line 54: invalid character entity &s (no semicolon)

I am running Version 2025.11.07
Thanks for your help!

Apparently it didn't like a character in one of the team logo URLs. I fixed it in the 2025.11.24 update publishing now.
