My channels just started stuttering today. The option to share tuners is off. Video works perfectly fine when I watch the app on my phone & there are a few channels on the ATV app that work ok but most of them are stuttering.
Your network doesn’t support the bandwidth. It would work great if you plug the DVR, ATV, and HDHR into the same network switch.
I did…it’s been working for well over a year now and then it just started messing up today…I have great speed well over 90 down
What can I do to get it working now cause I gotta see this game
Watch it transcoded via the webui or your phone. Or fix your network. Check your ethernet cables and switches.
Yeah it works perfect on my phone…ugh this can’t be life right now. My import router did a firmware update but I didn’t think that would cause any issues
Fyi: my ethernet transfers are about 900mbps down… and up too.
Who the heck can afford 90 down. Keep in mind I’m using a cable card so I didn’t think my internet played that much of a role in everything.
Your internet speed has nothing to do with this. Your streams run on your local network. Make sure everything is plugged in with ethernet cables
It is. Like I said it just stopped working today…idk why! I even when straight to the modem/router and it didn’t get any better

Are your TVs on wifi or wired?
Sounds like bad Wi-Fi signal at one of the TVs. Do you have both 2ghz and 5ghz Wi-Fi networks? Try connecting over 5ghz
I have tried both wired and wirless. Tha apple tvs are getting 110+ mbps down and 10+ mbps up speeds even on wireless…I just don’t understand what is going wrong here…
does remote login to DVR have anything to do with it?
It could be. If you are using the app at home you should log out of remote DVR.
I am not in remote DVR…I have my HDHR AND my ATV direct to my router so I KNOW its not my network. I’m getting great speeds…EVERYTHING else on my network works…I don’t understand what is going wrong. I can use the app from my computer as well as the app from my cell and it works just fine. I’m at a lost for words what is causing my issue.
Plug the DVR in too.

My DVR is a Mac Mini and it is/has been plugged into a switch. This set up has been working perfectly for years and then today it just stopped. I can watch perfectly fine with the HDHR view app. some tvs work on 5Ghz wifi but if its wired then its a wrap its NOT working!
