Move DVR folder

I am a long time and delighted user/subscriber to channels. Nothing compares - superb. I use an HDHomeRun Quattro and Synology DS218+ for server. Long term lurker and watcher on forums also!

When I installed it Channels created a folder DVR in /Volumes. I would like to move this inside a network share so I can backup with Synology apps. Is there an easy way to move the folder (on SSH login) inside a folder and ask channels to update location?

Too polite for the old adage acronym - RTFM :wink: Many thanks for the pointer ... will RTFM and also apply the clear steps. Also appreciate the steps outline by scooter.

Use an SFTP client. Make a share first on the Synology interface then use SFTP to move all the files from the old folder into the new share named folder.
