Move recording to another show

I recently changed guide provider. I now have a situation where the recordings of a show before the change are separate to recordings of the show after the change. I.e. they show up as two shows, but they are in fact the same show.

So, I was wondering if there was a way where I could edit the database to change the older recordings to belong to the same show as the newer recordings. I tried browsing the database with boltdbweb. But there seemed to be a lot of character encoding issues (I am on Windows).

The Devs can give you a definitive answer but I don’t believe direct editing of the database is supported.

There is not a way to do this at the moment. I can see why you need it and will need to think about how this could be made possible.

I guess one thing you could try is to move all the recordings to Imports/TV/ShowName and match them into one new group

No worries. It's a niche requirement & if there isn't any manual way I can do it right now, then I understand.
