Hey Fofer. I am getting the same message, I just started with all this and I get most channels from my Dish subscription on an AppleTV. A couple days ago added a HDHomeRun Connect to get OTA channels. I can watch the OTA channels just fine but can't record anything on them. I get the same screen you pictured when I click on the Channel logo. There are shows in the guide so I can see what is coming but no option to record.
Can you record shows on the channels that give you this message?

I only got that message when selecting a Virtual Channel, and after mentioning it here, a recent (prerelease) update fixed that for me. Sounds like your issue is something completely different.
