Movies Not Being Added to Server

Morning all. I'm new to channels dvr and have successfully loaded live channels and I can add my tv shows from my personal media however, movies won't how up. TV is under /shares/TV Shows however when I then add movies under /shares/Movies nothing shows up - it's as if there are no files available however I can play them directly or they show up in Plex.

I would rather bundle everything into one app so Im only using Channels moving forward. Any help would be appreciated. Is it a known issue and/or am I doing something wrong (which may well be the case).

What do your paths and file names look like. Do they conform to the specs?

  1. Go to Settings -> Sources -> Personal Media -> Movies -> Manage Folders
  2. Make sure the full path to your movies folder is there.
  3. Select Personal Media Settings Dropdown.
  4. Select Scan Personal Media.

It’s odd because when I create a folder called Films and move them over to this folder they go onto the server - why would that be though? Thanks
