Moving Channels to New PC - Can Recordings Be Ported Later?

It's in the title - I am going to move my Channels DVR from one Windows 10 PC to another - can I copy all of the DVR folders and files except the .mpg files and do a restore, then copy the .mpg files into the recordings folders later?

It is going to take a lot longer to copy the .mpg files vs. all other files - I wanted to get things running again and was hoping that the existing recordings would automatically re-import as they copied across the network to the new PC. Please let me know if this procedure works - thanks!

Yes you can copy the mpg files later

Thanks! - Moving Channels was fairly easy but one of the 3 guides (for OTA) is not available - I re-downloaded and also tried re-building the entire database and still don't have it - right now it's not a problem because I have the YTTV TV Everywhere as a backup and that guide is present - how do I get the OTA guide to come back?

Does it show any guide attached to the hdhomerun source?

It says DVR: USA-OTA75013 under each of the two HDHR-Quatros in the source listings

UPDATE: I manually re-selected the above guide for each of the Quatros - then the text "DVR: USA-OTA...." disappeared from under them and the guide came back

Don't know why, but everytime I've restored from backup I have to do this to get guide data
Settings>Guide Database>Maintenance>Delete and Recreate Database

Well, after moving, now my YTTV TV Everywhere channels aren't working - any clues on how to fix?

Solution: update to the latest beta version
