My father is moving his DVR from MacBook Air to a WD MyCloud. He wants to move everything, Season Passes and recordings to it. What steps need to be taken in order to do this? Does he install it first on the NAS and then later on do the IP restore or what exactly should his steps be to ensure he doesn't lose anything?
We have stopped recommending the MyCloud Home. It is not powerful enough for a good dvr experience, and also does not provide an easy way to copy over existing dvr data.
Ok, then maybe remove it from the whole page that shows where all you can install it on?

What do you recommend? I love this app And it is working perfectly with my laptop. I bought a WDCloud home because I don’t want to leave my laptop on all the time.
I currently use YouTube TV and their DVR is really bad so am looking for an alternative. What do you suggest? Thanks. Holli
Seriously? I JUST bought one as it is listed on YOUR WEBSITE as a NAS to use with channels!
It skipped a whole bunch of the first football game I attempted to record!!
I can't return it as it was a private sale.
And now as I am researching why it didn't work I see this? NOT COOL!
