I just moved which means my channel numbers etc will change, not to mention I changed cable plans (same service, xfinity). Is there a protocol for setting up the DVR in a new location? Anything specific I need to do? You will need to rescan for channels on your HDHR, then go into the DVR and “scan network”, clear out the guide data provider and enter your new zipcode to download guide data for your new lineup.
