Is there an option somewhere to move recordings into a Movies or Tv Shows folder? I checked the help section and I didn't see anything.
For recordings, it is possible:

Create a "DVR" folder (it could be a different name) in a different disk/location with the same internal folder structure (including subfolders "Movies" and "TV")

Add your new DVR folder in
Generalsettings on the server:
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page:
You should already have your current location listed there. Just click the "+" button to add another one.
When trying to locate a recording, the server will first look in the primary folder and, if it's not found there, it will keep looking one by one in all other storage locations until it finds it.
