Multi hour show dvr'd in 3 parsed segments

Hello, All of a sudden, my passes for a 3 hr show (Example Varney&Co on FOX Business) are being dvr'd in 1hr episodes. I don't think I changed anything. Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Do they show up in the guide as one hour airings?

Yes. That is what has changed.

So are you saying your series pass no longer records them all?
If I create a series pass for that show, all the one hour episodes are scheduled to record.
Pass Advanced view

Scheduled

If, for some reason, you prefer a single three hour recording instead of 3 one hour recordings like the guide shows it, just modify your pass to only record the first episode using TIME CONTAINS and add 2 hour end padding.

Your 120 minutes would be an acceptable work around. In the past, I didn't have to do that. All I did was schedule the show and the full 3 hours was recorded as one episode. Thanks for your help and advice.

The DVR can only schedule recordings based on the guide data it gets (which comes from Gracenote who gets it from the networks). Appears the network changed the listings from a single 3 hour airing to three 1 hour airings. All you can do is complain to the network (and Gracenote via feedback at xap2it.com). Good luck with that.

Thanks for the update. Your solution to extend the buffer to 120 is a good one or.....i will just learn to live with it.

Thanks again!

I also went into passes and selected advanced then set time fo 8:00am that way it only records the first program. Set padding to 120 minutes.
