Multi NIC

I have an x4 NIC card using Windows and wish to enforce channels to only use NIC#2 for HDHomeRun and to the TV's I have it set statically to the TV's not an issue but how do I make the homerun use that IP Also? As this Nic is just for channels.

You'd have to put the NIC, HDHR and TVs on a separate subnet and, if you want them to reach the outside or other hosts on your primary subnet, add something to route between them. Windows has not historically supported two NICs on the same subnet,.

Is there a problem you're trying to solve by doing this? If it's all wired and gigabit or faster, you've got enough bandwidth available to run a couple dozen 4K streams simultaneously with room to spare.

Purely to prevent over saturation of the NIC it's a heavily used system so the NIC it is primary using that I wanted to avoid is the data transfer NIC and often hits almost max. Not the end of the world but since the HD homerun is at one location and the server is in another connected via a site2site never had a issue with that it was just to ensure dedicated NICs for services.

This sounds like a prime use case for a VLAN. Are you using a managed switch in your environment?
