Hi, does anyone have a Channels setup using multicast streams? I have been experimenting with a DVB-S card and MuMuDVB. My main aim is to reduce the delay it takes for my Sat>IP server to stream the channels selected by putting some of the more frequently used channels on a multicast stream.
VLC opens these streams pretty quickly however my Apple TV 4K which we use for playback opens these slower than my Sat>IP server.
I've just made a playlist with udp://....... entries to test the multicast.
Any ideas?
