I record the evening local news at 10pm on 4.1 at 11pm it's broadcast on a sub-channel 4.2 Anyway I can exclude the 11pm recording?
Edit the pass on the DVR to only record from 4.1.
Huh that seems so simple yet I can’t find how to choose just 4.1. I get new episodes start a minute early but not just the channel.
You have to edit the pass on the DVR web UI
In the DVR web UI, navigate to DVR > Passes > Program Name > 
> Edit. That will present to you a dialog, with an empty "Channel" field. Simply put "4.1" in that field, and select "Save".
