I don’t see any conflicts. I have series pass set, but apparently I had to set it from the guide. Now I have 3 series passes, only one records… I’m seeing other this with other shows also. Major bug
FWIW: The only time I’ve had programs fail to record is when they didn’t actually air (preempted by something) or when the Gracenote data erroneously had them with the same season and episode number as something that had already been recorded.
In that latter case I caught the reason only because we caught it as it was (not) happening. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to catch the season and episode number and found it already in the log.
I depends upon when you set your series pass. Murphy Brown was originally listed in the guide using the same SeriesID as the original series. However, as it got closer to the premiere date, Gracenote changed the SeriesID and gave the reboot of Murphy Brown its own listing. So before this was listed as season 17 (or was it 18) of the original series, it is now season 1 of a different series.
If your series pass was created with the original data, it won’t match any of the new episodes. If you created your series pass within a week or so of the new series broadcast, then it ought to match the new series.
It’s not really a Channels issue, but rather a problem with Gracenote, their guide data provider.
Which other shows?
Into Alaska, Women in white.
