My Channels has started crashing

I have had Channels running on raspberry pi, HD home run, and WD Elements HD since April and has been great except recently started crashing more and more frequently and now basically not working. Wish I could attach image, as when I look at screen on the pi, it boots fine but then starts displaying a bunch of errors over and over, here is sample:

[1840.610020] systemd-journald[121]: Failed to write entry (9 items, 279 bytes),

[1840.611757] SQUASHFS error: unable to read metadata cache entry [9cb0578)

[1840.614238] systemd-journald[121]: Failed to write entry (9 items, 280 bytes),

[1840.615569] SQUASHFS error: unable to read directory block [9cb0578:965]

and so on…does this mean my WD drive is bad? I tried reinstalling the channels image to the HD to start over from scratch (lost my recordings of course, but wanted to give that a try), but it didn’t help, still spitting out a bunch of errors like the above.

Thanks,
David

Yes it does seem like it may be failing
