And then you can see any server side settings that are forced on the client add or delete them from there. Once you delete them you can then change settings in the app

Check to see if you have something setup in Global settings if you do trash them all and start over.

BEEN there, done that, but the only thing I can click on is Remove. All of the other settings are greyed out on both TVs.
Everyone here helping you has told you multiple times to check on the web admin, in your browser.
Not in the apps. You need to do it in the browser. In your Channels DVR Server web admin.
I understand that but I am having a little trouble with the server address. I have Channels installed on my desktop computer which has an IP address of 192.168.8.183. That IP address is unreachable. I am getting the Channel Server webpage in Chrome at http://127.0.0.1:8089/admin/settings. Am I using the wrong IP address for the Channels Server? HDHomerun is 192.168.8.215. I have been doing everything from my desktop in either Firefox or Chrome on my desktop. Just for info my OS is Linux Zorin. I don't know of another IP address for Channels. I apologize for any confusion, but I have been doing what has been suggested. Is there another IP address that I don't know about. When I was using the Raspberry, there was an IP address assigned that said Media-DVR. But since Channels is on my desktop, it just shows my computers IP address. What am I doing wrong? I will in the next week be moving Channels to a dedicated Windows 11 computer.

Are you saying when you click this gear in your browser...
Are you saying all of these things on the left greyed out?
I can't even get those settings.
So when you click on the arrow next to "General" nothing drops down? It took me a while to figure out that clicking on the word did nothing.
Yep, I can't get anything to open. The only active button is Remove!
Just for shits and grins I just rebooted my computer and I can now get those drop downs. I don't reboot very often as it messes with the TV. I am told that Zorin sometimes has a problem with the RAM getting corrupted. I got into this Linux Zorin for security as hackers don't attempt to hack it. But it is starting to drive me crazy. I will try to take it from here.
Thanks for all the support Maddox and Tmm1. But that is why you get paid the big bucks.
And thanks Absenm for your input.
This has been a very learning day of what I don't know!
