When I first setup channels, I set it up on a VPS (cause I was curious). I have long since shut it down and have my dvr service at home on my shield (love it, works awesome) When I log into the website, it says that my URL for "at home" is the VPS url. How do I update this so I can connect to my home dvr remotely?
If you have multiple servers then a random one will be appear on your account page. That is unrelated to remote access, which depends on which DVR is configured with remote access on.
I don't think I have a server running on the vps anymore, haven't for a long time. Just running the one server (afaik - maybe there's a leftover service running?)
It is showing as running. You have three instances reporting active on your account.
sigh. okay that's my bad, it's orphaned processes .
You don't know, off the top of your head, the Ubuntu CLI to kill/fully uninstall channels do you
./channels-dvr/uninstall.sh
thank you, step 1 I'll get those cleaned up
