My.channelsdvr.net not reachable

Hello,

I'm trying to access my.channelsdvr.net from my work PC. When I navigate to the url, I get prompted to log in. After entering my credentials I get this: This site can’t be reached

The webpage at https://a5a66aefda87.channelsdvr.net:8089/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED

I then opened the channels app on my iphone and I can gain access without issue so this tells me that I can access it remotely. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Spencer

I setup an Apple TV remote connection the other day. While I was at the remote location in the ATV settings and connecting to the DVR it ask me to login on my iPhone on the same network at http://192.168.1.nnn/auth (I assume the ipaddress of the local Apple TV?). Which I did and it worked. So, had if I been at my house I assume I could not have authenticated my remote location. Do I understand that correctly? If so, is there a workaround for that?

Some home routers do not allow connections back to your public IP, so the remote url might not work in your home network.

Just an update, it is either my works firewall or proxy server that is blocking my access to my.channelsdvr.net
