but when i select anything to watch, i just get the wheel spinning
this is out of home, no channels come in. the channels ARE coming in via the laptop i have at the same location, so I am wondering if
there is a phone setting i need to tweak
Please go to Settings -> Support -> Submit Diagnostic Logs from your device and let us know when it's been submitted so we can have a better idea of what was going on.

Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Experimental and uncheck Use HEVC for transcoding.

i got it to work last night after waiting for like 10 minutes - and then after that everything came in, but that 1st wait was insanely long
anything more I need to do?
If you're having more problems I would have to see diagnostics from the new issue you're having.
