Why is Asustor not included (quite new Asus subsidy)? I have a: Asustor AS-602T. Quite powerfull.
UPDATE: Well i’ll sell it, if i have to and switch… But not to WD My Cloud - it is too weak for anything fun

I’m the Lacie outlier…5big NAS Pro…willing to switch to synology if necessary
I have just ordered a QNAP TAS-268
I’m using qnap ts-412. Works great with the HDHomerun DVR beta
Using Synology 212J but thinking of upgrading to the 216 Play
Using Qnap TS-453A, great device well suited for a Channels DVR here in Australia
I am using a QNAP TS-251
WD MyCloud Ex2 6TB…
Synology DS216+…
MyCloud Mirror and / or MyCloud EX2 Ultra
I have a Synology DS1815+
My vote is for the DVR to not need a pc or Mac to run on, if possible.
Unlike assumptions above, my house is a Mac house. Like a lot of Mac homes there are no windows machine in the house.
WD 4TB My Cloud - NAS - WDBCTL0040HWT-NESN
For what it is worth, the Lacie NAS OS is a product of Seagate…and the latest update killed my ability to start the SD DVR using SSH or their installer.
I’d love to see support for the Synology DS413. Thanks!
Windows Server 2012 R2
WD MyCloud 4TB (WDBCTL0040HWT-NESN)
Freenas support, that will probably happen either way though
WD MyCloud 4TB WDBCTL0040HWT-NESN
My votes go to Synology and WD MyCloud support. Freenas would also be cool.
I use a WD My Cloud EX2100
