NCAA Tournament Series Pass and announced internet/cable interruption

This is the time of year I look forward to the most - March Madness. I always try to record each and every game so I can see the best parts of any game when I have a chance. Watching live and later where more feasible is the number one reason I still pay the exorbitant price to get Xfinity/Comcast cable delivered to our TiVos and HDHR Prime.

Well, of all the times to do an "upgrade", Xfinity has said they're going to be doing a service upgrade in our neighborhood starting at 6 AM Friday (3/21) and the work should be completed the same day. Interruptions could vary anywhere from fairly briefly up to most of the day.

Anyway, I have a couple series passes to record all the Men's and Women's NIT and NCAA basketball tournament games. Tomorrow there are 32 games scheduled to be recorded, and I'm wondering what to expect during the interruptions.

I know that when there's a broken connection recording a specific program Channels seems to continue assembling the file as much as it can until it's conclusion. What I'm not sure of is what it's going to be able to do when up to a dozen recordings are running at once during one or more such interruptions - perhaps even bridging to successive recordings. Does anyone have any experience with this? Will I need to manually manage any recording activity that may be prematurely abandoned?
