New and Old Recordings in Library, Not Recordings

First, and please, I know no techno-speak.

Recently when I record movies, they do not show up in RECORDINGS. They only populate in LIBRARY.

I did email about this and received this response: There was a bug that went out with the last version that excluded movies from the Recordings section. It's since been resolved and is available on our beta version. It should go out as a release soon

I'd like to note that, in my case, this "bug" also removed months-earlier recorded movies from RECORDINGS and placed them in LIBRARY.

This was temporarily fixed (as far as new recordings; not as far as the former recordings I had being moved) but as of yesterday, the bug persists. (1) Can I get a status and perhaps some instruction if indeed there is a resolution?

Next, I record to an SSD. I know I've downloaded movies/shows from there to the external hard drive. However, over the last several years, I have loved leaving some of my favorites in my RECORDINGS guide so I can easily watch them when I'd like. Now the Channels bug has undone all of that. Question: (2) Is there a way to go to the external drive storage and copy a movie from the external drive to the SSD -- specifically to repopulate it in RECORDINGS? I'm guessing not, but it never hurts to ask.

I replied to your latest email explaining the difference in Recordings and Library.

Just to make it clear here too, the Library contains every bit of content in Channels. Whether it was recorded, imported, stream links, or whatever.

The Recordings section is just a view that shows JUST recordings, excluding imports, stream links, etc.

There is no moving between Recordings and Library. All your recordings are always in both. These are just different sections showing your content in different ways.

The missing content you're speaking of are Movies. As was explained, Movies were accidently excluded from Recordings in the last release. It has been fixed, is available on the beta, and will be available in the next official store release we send out. There is no schedule for when the next store release is sent out.
