I have been working with support to get a new channel added that when I did a scan last week it showed up. I contacted Silicon Dust and they added the channel right away. I have contacted support for channels and it has been alittle tough to get the channel added. I am in the 59602 zip code, the channel is 12.3 COZI. I accidentally assigned a channel to the new channel. I am wondering a couple things. The first is when will the guide data be available to download as I am getting guide data from the hd homerun app. The next question is how will I go about getting the new guide data.
Please open Terminal.app on your DVR mac and copy/paste the following command:
curl -XPUT --data ‘{“12.3”:“65571”}’ http://127.0.0.1:8089/dvr/guide/stations/USA-OTA59602

do i need to stop they dvr first or remove the scanned channels first
No just run that command and it should download data for that channel. You can click the circle refresh icon under your hdhomerun.
