Recently added a new episode to a show i had on a virtua channel. However, the new episode is not showing up. Do I need to remove the show and re-add it for new episodes to show up?
Also, playing in release date order still plays episode 2 first if episodes 1 & 2 have the same release date.

I think it rebuilds the episode lineup only once a day. How long has it been since you added the new episode?
I added the episode yesterday afternoon. Even tried refreshing the source within the options. Via the server, I see the episode as part of the show, even when i look up the show via one of the clients. Just not showing up on the virtual channel yet…. Any thoughts?
That's normal. The guide/lineup for virtual channels is generated when the guide updates. This is usually between 9–10am local time.

Could be related to how they're stored in the database, or it could be Mercury in retrograde, or any number of opaque reasons.
If the airing/lineup order is important, you can change the sorting to season/episode, or manually sort your items.
It was our sorting. This has been resolved in the latest pre-release.
