I have been running into issues trying to get a pi to boot from a physical hard drive. I can get a thumb drive to use to boot the Pi. I know the eprom fix worked on the pi. I have tried a 2T and a 3T both with the channels image loaded on them. These drives are using usb3 port (blue) on the pi.
Any suggestions? Any hardware (external HD) suggestions?

What drives did you try and where is it getting stuck?
I have a 3T external 3.5” usb3 drive as well as a 2T both have their own power sources.
When I look at the drives I built on my computer . Both the 3T & 2T I can see the image that was built on both drives but neither will boot with the Pi
What brand drive or enclosure?
