New installation issue

Channels DVR Server

I have a Synology DS218+ that channels quit working on today. I wiped the NAS and I am now trying to install Channels DVR from the install file off the site and it starts the install but the screen that is attached is where its sitting now and has been for the past 20 min.

I have tried to close and restart the NAS and start the installation again and have even tried downloading a new copy of the install file off the channels dvr website but i still get the same results.

Any ideas?

Check the IP and DNS settings to make sure its able to access the internet

I did check that and it can, I have even logged remotely to the NAS via the IP:5000 and tried the install with the same results.

Maybe Synology firewall is blocking access?
Or, you're running a VPN that's interfering?

Can you see the Channels DVR web UI at http://x.x.x.x:8089

i reset the cable modem and it resolved the issue. thanks.
