New problem: Connection Refused errors

Haven't posted in awhile because Channels DVR has been working great, until recently. Over the past couple of weeks I noticed some of my recordings are all screwed up. That is, they are not a full recording and when I play them they skip around and then terminated prematurely. The log suggests the server is intermittently refusing the connection.

I'm inclined to believe this is a hardware problem and that my HDHomeRun Duo is failing. But I'm not sure how to diagnose if that is the case.

Any suggestions?

Is this the correct IP for your HDHR? Maybe it rebooted and changed? Do you have a static dhcp reservation set?

I don't have a static one. Is that advisable?

Definitely. Otherwise, every time the DHCP lease is up, the DVR has to find it all over again.
