New request: Manual adoption of guide data

As I am living in an area which is not officially supported by Channels = Austria, it is still mainly working BUT, and here is the thing: I do not find a proper guide data source which covers all changes. Hence, following feature request, which I do also know from EyeTV:

A possibility would be great where you can manually “assign” the right channel from gracenote to the channels in HDHomeRun. This works perfectly fine with EyeTV and ensures that the right source is assigned to the right channel.

What hdhomerun model are you using?

You should be getting accurate guide data in Australia, as we have many users there and it is a fully supported region. Normally if there are incorrect guide mappings they can be fixed, but it depends on the hdhomerun model.

Let me know which guide provider you selected in the app. What location did you select under Austria?

don’t worry - you are not the first one mixing up Austria and Australia. That’s one of the reason, why we have shirts “There are no kangaroos in Austria”.
