New Setup, Thanks

I was having some problems in my setup with channelsdvr. I decided to make a change and move to a Raspberry Pi 4. I wanted to share my experience with the process.
I followed the instructions from the channelsdvr website. It was spot on and easy to follow. My setup ended up being:
RPI4 4gig (due to availability
2tb 2.5" Platter HDD
The RPI power supply

I also bought some heatsinks to deal with heat.
I decided to Din mount the RPI 4 and Hardrive.

I used the RPI image that channels created.

I have been using the setup for 3 days and and wanted to share my experience.

Easy to install. The interface is fast and works nicely. So if your on the fence about creating a RPI 4 channelsdvr, I would say it works great and you won't regret it.

Thanks for sharing!

Where was the dvr running before and what kind of problems did you have?

I had it running in a docker. In the end, my problem was a switch on my network. I still decided to switch to the RPI 4 in order to have a more ideal setup that was less prone to having recording issues. My setup is very different than most (probably). I had read in a post of yours that its ideal to plugin in your dvr to the same switch as the hdhomeruns. So I thought about it and decided to make a change.
