Might be nice, but I don't see it in the screenshot?

Maybe you have to signup to Bluesky to see what he's talking about.

That's what I see.
Where is the signal strength/signal quality display?
The green bars are supposed to show good quality signal, if they are red, then it's a poor quality signal.
Oh, an idiot light
I thought they were going to actually display the values of each in dBmV and dB.
You know, like how much is it really above 100%
I guess that's a "techie" thing and would have to pay the premium for a TECH HDHR device to get it.
Same here! Kind of a lot of hoopla for not much...
It is better than nothing. I wouldn't use it to aim an antenna, but it would give the casual user an idea of what channels have reception issues.
Can you click on the 4 horizontal bars for more information?
Which bars are signal strength and which are signal quality?
Or is it like a cell phone. More bars in more places until you try using it and place a call
Nope like a cell phone except red means NG.
So after the scan, the channels in red disappear from your lineup?
I'm guessing it's always 4 bars, so the number of bars means nothing.
I'm tempted to try it, but not sure it works on a Prime and I have scheduled recordings tonight.
It is not a Prime thing.... Channels in red you X them out.
If you happen to run Windows, this might be an option...
Four or five years ago on the SD forum I requested simple virtual LEDs in the HDHR software since it had been several years since they had ditched the hardware LEDs. SiliconDust didn't oblige, but a guy in the forum saw my post and did it as a project.
Here's a quick-n-dirty screenshot of how it looks on my Win10 install, beware I run my taskbar at the top, it displays where your taskbar is.
I also have that for my Prime. It only shows percentages for Signal Strength, Signal Quality and Symbol Quality on what you tuned though.
The HDHR web UI for a Prime shows the actual dBmV and dB values.
