New to MAC and Channels (how do I shut off the server?)

Hello all,
I’m new to MAC and Channels. I LOVE channels. I have Verizon fios and have ditched all my equipments for it. I’m trying to figure out though how to stop the server running on my current MAC in preparation for moving to a newer Mac. SO silly question I know, how do I shut down the server on this Mac without shutting off the computer?

Run the installer again and it will show an uninstall button

Is Uninstalling still the only way to shut down the server?

You could run this in a terminal:

launchctl stop com.getchannels.dvr
