New York Times Video Collection

For many years I've enjoyed the excellent content and investigative journalism at New York Times Video. All of the videos play as standard .m3u8 files, without any DRM or NYT registration required. Here is an example: https://vp.nyt.com/video/hls/2018/04/24/76325_1_happy-mystery_wg/master.m3u8

Much of this content is shared on their YouTube channel too, but it's poorly indexed and clunky to browse.

Prior to Channels DVR, I used Kodi to access these news videos on my TV, using this plugin:

And it worked perfectly, it was my favorite Kodi plugin. It presented all the videos in a browsable list by category. "Most Viewed" is a great place to start. But I've moved on since then to AppleTV and Channels DVR. Just brainstorming here but could something like this be possible on Channels, now or in the future? Maybe not presented in the guide data, but as a streamlink collection to browse and play from?
