I have Channels set to record ATSC 3.0 and mark the commercials and I use plex to watch the recording because Plex has an app for my LG tv. I don't see any markings? Does anyone know if I should see the marking for commercials when viewing the recording in plex?
As far as I know Plex doesn't read external edl files, which is what Channels generates to mark commercials.
You would have to run the commercial skipper in Plex to make it skip commercials.
